STAR CAMP is an individualized program that provides one-on-one enrichment activities targeting:

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE - language-rich activities that help foster speech and language development and overall communication​
​

THEATRE GAMES - pretend play, music and movement, and theatre games that bring out your child's inner star and promote confidence​
​

ARTS & CRAFTS - theme-based arts and craft activities to help your child explore a variety of mediums and promote creativity​
​
-
READING - Individualized activities targeting pre-literacy or literacy skills at your child's level of development while having FUN
​

WHO: Children ages 4-8 who are interested in some summer fun and in need of a boost! This individualized summer enrichment program is designed to target skills that foster communication, confidence, and academic success (NOTE: This camp does not take the place of speech therapy).
​
WHAT: STAR CAMP 2026 is a five-week, highly-individualized program with activities to give your child an extra boost in communication, literacy, and more. Star Camp is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for a total of 10 private enrichment sessions:​​

WHERE: All sessions take place at Yorktown Therapy Services
​
WHEN: Each session in this private enrichment package will be one hour; 10 hours total. The sessions will be scheduled for a designated time, following your child's registration. Time slots are limited, so we recommend registering and securing your spot as soon as possible.
​
COST: The fee for this individualized enrichment package is $350. Payment must be made in full to secure your spot.

MEET YOUR ENRICHMENT SPECIALIST: BRYLEIGH
Bryleigh is our talented enrichment specialist, and she is very excited to be serving in Star Camp this year! Bryleigh has been working at Yorktown Therapy Services since 2023, and she is thrilled to use her talents for Star Camp! Bryleigh currently attends James Madison University, majoring in Communication Science and Disorders while also minoring in Theatre. She plans to be a speech-language pathologist and work with children. Bryleigh already has many years of experience working with children of all ages, and she enjoys bringing her creativity to her work. Bryleigh has a background in theatre and she also sings and plays guitar. She enjoys helping children grow through theatre, music and movement, and other creative outlets. We are so excited to see her shine at STAR CAMP this year!
