SUMMER FUN SPOTLIGHT! Did you know that PLAY and LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT are closely connected? As play skills advance, so does language! And we know that when children are having fun, they are more likely to retain and generalize their learning. So at Yorktown Therapy Services, we love to PLAY! We offer engaging, individualized sessions filled with play, games, and preferred activities, and we carefully target speech and language skills at the same time. We also coach family members on the strategies we use so your child can better play and learn at home!
